Company Background & History

Reach Pediatric Therapy was originally founded in 1987 by two pediatric nurses who saw an unmet need to provide home based pediatric therapy services to the medically fragile and special needs population in Houston. We soon added pediatric outpatient clinical therapy services to provide more comprehensive care for our patients and their families.  We have since expanded to include three outpatient pediatric clinics to serve our patient’s diverse needs in the greater Houston area.

In 2015, Reach merged with a Colorado-based, pediatric home therapy and private duty nursing provider, Professional Pediatric Home Care, to expand their geographic and service line delivery of pediatric healthcare services. The two companies came together based upon a strong alignment in clinical excellence, strategy, history and core values.  This merger has expanded both company’s service lines and growth potential, for clients and employees alike.  The Houston operation has benefited by gaining an experienced, quality/growth-driven CEO and support services to augment a local management team that has more than a century of collective experience in pediatric home care and outpatient rehab. This combination, when combined with a team of passionate and experienced pediatric specialty caregivers, has uniquely positioned Reach/PPHC to provide high quality care and further expand our services.

Reach currently works with over 600 families in Houston and the surrounding areas.  We are proud to have served the greater Houston area and our patients/families for almost 30 years and look forward to many more years of being a trusted healthcare community partner.
